Where it all started

Munzhedzi Primary School is located in Limpopo Province, within Vleifontein Location under Makhado Municipality. The school was established in 1980 as a result of forced removals aligned with segregation policies and began operations in 1982 under the leadership of Mr. Magadagela, who later left the school.

The story

Following Mr. Magadagela, Mrs. Mushi took over as principal, overseeing an enrolment of approximately 577 learners. In 2005, Mr. Godzwana assumed leadership, guiding the school until 2017, by which time enrolment had grown to 978 learners, with a staff of 25 educators, including one Deputy Principal and three Departmental Heads.

In 2020, Mrs. Maluleke SG was appointed as the school's fourth principal. Under her leadership, the school continues to grow, with current enrolment reaching 1,115 students and a dedicated team of 29 educators, including a Deputy Principal and four Departmental Heads. Munzhedzi Primary School remains committed to providing quality education and fostering community development.
